About the event

Celebrate independence and foster a strong sense of belonging with this engaging, July 4th-themed professional development training designed specifically for early childhood educators. Through developmentally appropriate activities, inclusive strategies, and culturally responsive teaching, participants will learn how to integrate patriotic themes into their classrooms in meaningful, hands-on ways.

This training covers practical ideas for incorporating social-emotional learning, STEAM, literacy, and family engagement into your July 4th celebrations — all while respecting diverse family traditions and backgrounds. Educators will leave with ready-to-use activities, downloadable resources, and a renewed confidence in building classroom communities that honor values like fairness, leadership, and gratitude.

Ideal for: Early childhood teachers, program directors, curriculum planners, and childcare providers working with children ages 0-5.
