Throughout the course, teachers will learn the foundational concepts of empathy and its importance in young children's social, emotional, and academic development. The class will focus on practical strategies, activities, and techniques to help children recognize and manage their own emotions, develop perspective-taking skills, and engage in positive, compassionate interactions with peers. Through reflective exercises, group discussions, and activity planning, educators will gain tools to create a supportive environment where empathy is nurtured and reinforced daily.
